How does AI product extraction work?

Simply paste a product link from any online store. Our AI visits the page, analyzes its content, and automatically extracts the product name, manufacturer, price, and images. It works with most major retailers and marketplaces.

Is Rerum free to use?

Yes. Rerum has a permanent Free plan with 2 editable estimates, up to 25 AI autofills/month, 50 rows per estimate, 5 tabs per estimate, and a 50-product database. New accounts also get a 14-day Starter trial with no credit card required; Starter and Pro are for larger workloads.

What happens to my estimates after the trial ends?

Your estimates stay in the app — we never delete them. After the trial, your account moves to the Free plan: 2 editable estimates, up to 25 AI autofills/month, and a 50-product database. Estimates above the 2-document limit become read-only — you can still view and export them to PDF or Excel — and Starter or Pro unlocks full editing.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. Cancel in your account settings in seconds — no long-term contracts, no cancellation fees. Paid features remain available until the end of the billing period, and all your estimates stay accessible.

Which browsers does the extension support?

The Rerum browser extension is available on the Chrome Web Store (also works in Microsoft Edge) and on Mozilla Add-ons for Firefox. It works on any website with product information.

Can I share my estimates with others?

Yes! You can generate a public share link for any estimate document. Recipients can view the estimate in read-only mode without needing a Rerum account.

What export formats are supported?

You can export your estimates to CSV, Excel (with a summary sheet), and PDF (with header and subtotals). Images can be embedded or linked depending on your preference.

Absolutely. We use secure authentication (email/password with CAPTCHA protection and Google OAuth2), encrypted connections, and follow industry best practices for data protection.

Can I add customer business details (Tax ID, registration number) to my estimate?

A dedicated customer-data field on the estimate itself is on the roadmap. For now, you export the finished document to CSV, Excel, or PDF and open it in your accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero), where you add the customer's tax ID, registration number, and address when issuing the VAT invoice. Your own company's tax details for the subscription invoice are entered in account settings.

Does Rerum support VAT calculations?

You can add custom columns to your estimate (e.g. named "VAT 23%" or "net") and enter values manually — Rerum doesn't auto-calculate VAT yet. Each row's total (price × quantity) is computed automatically with decimal precision. VAT invoices are issued from your accounting software after exporting to CSV, Excel, or PDF.

Will the app work on a job site without internet?

Rerum runs in the browser, so it needs a connection. On job sites we recommend quickly downloading the estimate as a PDF before going out; all line items, prices, and product images are then available offline. Sync resumes when you're back online.

Can I export estimates to other estimating software?

CSV and Excel exports let you import data into most professional estimating tools. We don't have direct integrations yet — let us know via the contact form if a specific tool matters to you.

What is a project shopping list?

A project shopping list is a list of products with prices and quantities, created and edited in your browser instead of Excel — contractors sometimes call it an estimate. In Rerum, AI extracts product data from any link — no manual retyping. Export your finished document to PDF, Excel or CSV in seconds.

Your project shopping list, presented like a professional estimate

One place for every item you need on the project — with prices, photos, and per-room totals.

Project shopping list from any link: Paste a product address from any shop (Amazon, IKEA, eBay, manufacturer stores). Rerum extracts name, price, and photos. A shopping list built for the industry — not a sticky note.

On every device: Open in the browser on your office computer, check on your phone from the job site. Your project shopping list is synced in real time.

Tabs: living room, kitchen, bathroom: Group items into tabs per room or project phase. Each tab has its own subtotal (price × quantity).
